Greetings,

The Willimantic Public Library and the Friends of the Willimantic Public Library invite you to support the 6th Annual Eastern Connecticut Children’s Book Fair. The fair will feature12 Connecticut children’s book authors/illustrators who will set up displays of their books and do book signings. We will be giving away free children’s books, including books by the featured authors. The event has the goals of supporting our community, getting local citizens and children more involved with the Willimantic Public Library, and inviting children to become lifelong readers.

The Book Fair is being held at the Windham Community/Senior Center on Saturday,

November 7 from 10 – 2. In addition to authors, there will be children’s activities, and a puppet show. We hope to see you there.

Thank you for considering supporting this event which will deliver books into the hands of children in the Willimantic/Windham area and hopefully get children of all ages and backgrounds interested in reading and literacy. Your financial support will go towards the purchase of free books to be given to children. Any amount would be helpful to make this event a success.
